What you will be working on
- Strategise and develop talent attraction initiatives to help Singapore position itself to capture opportunities in the digital economy
- Lead in the development and provision of data-driven reporting on key ICT and media manpower indicators. This will aid in policymaking, operational excellence and overall customer and user satisfaction
- Integrate tech and media talent strategies across Singapore, covering educational institutions, CET/adult learning, global/foreign manpower, scholarships, etc.
- Prospect for and generate partnerships with industry and institutions to train and place locals into tech and media jobs, both locally and abroad
- Work with companies and government agencies to pursue tech and media talent policies and develop innovative projects
- Interface with key decision makers and stakeholders to advance IMDA’s talent programmes and agenda (e.g. to advocate for policy changes; to secure resources/support, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional teams in projects to enhance tech and media talent development, and jobs/skills for Singapore
What we are looking for
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Public Policy / Strategy / Data
- Proven track record of leading multi-functional teams and projects
- Experience in a public sector organisation or the tech industry in industry development and manpower policy & planning would be advantageous
- Possess strong analytical skills, understand data, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Position will be commensurate with experience.
