Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Data Analyst cum IT. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in information technology and data analytics to support our organization's operations and decision-making processes. You will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive business growth and optimization.
Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis:
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to analyse large datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and visualizations to present findings effectively.
2. IT Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technological solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
3. Reporting and Presentations:
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by establishing quality control measures and data validation processes.
4. Data Privacy and Security:
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT or Computer Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful and visually appealing reports.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
