Smart Urban Logistics Group of Resilient Value Chain Division is seeking a highly motivated research engineer or senior research engineer to develop new technologies and software systems for logistics planning and order fulfillment applications. The successful candidate will be working on turning ground-breaking AI algorithms and models developed from R&D into ready-to-use software solutions, which create impact to industry. The candidate must be conversant in DevOps and micros-service enabled software development. He/she is expected to be an independent and initiated person that is able to find innovative solutions to new challenges and adept at contributing using agile approaches. In addition, good understanding of supply chain operations/processes, operational data analysis and data driven process improvement will be useful.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and costs constraints
- Design and develop generic and configurable web applications and native/hybrid mobile applications for Android, IOS and web platform
- Databased design and webservice development
- Optimize the software system performance
- System integration, debugging, testing and deployment
- Customer technical support and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
- Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering or other suitable engineering discipline.
- Good knowledge and experience in manufacturing operation, process and planning preferably in Pharma or Food Manufacturing sector.
- Good knowledge and understanding state-of-the-art digital platforms and digital solutions industry 4.0 to drive manufacturing quality and excellence.
- Good knowledge in python, C#, Java, Java Script or other related language.
- Experience in Web application development with .Net Design Patterns, Microservice architecture, container technology and MVC.
- Experience in Mobile applications development for Android or IOS applications
