1. Work closely with marketing and other partners on defining brand innovation strategy to meet target consumer needs and develop new launches.
2. Stay updated on consumer, market and competition understanding and propose insights to support business growth.
3. Supervise lab operations to ensure the prompt availability of products for business that are of good quality, safe and effective, suitable for mass production, in line with the brand/category innovation strategy. Ensure launch commitments are met with regard to lead time and cost.
4. Manage lab operations by optimizing resources, define and respect launch conditions, coordinate activities with enabling departments in China and abroad, issue updates on any risks.
5. Ensure the safety of people/assets and compliance with quality procedures.
6. Recruit, develop and manage the team. Ensure the development of know-how and expertise and contribute to organizational development.
