Salary: $3,500 - $4,000
Working location: Pandan Loop
Working hours: 5.5 days, Mon – Fri (9am – 6pm), Sat(9am – 1pm)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the performance and results of Quality Control and Assurance functions.
- Lead, manage and mentor Quality team to ensure productive and high-performance work environment.
- Develop, implement, monitor and/or improve Quality framework and Standard Operating Procedures
- Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards; risk assessments; quality specifications; documentation and procedures to comply with SFA, Halal, FSSC 22000, HACCP etc statutory requirements and company policies.
- Drive projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards, and requirements.
- Support production team to trouble-shoot and resolve any product quality issues
- Ensure that all food safety, quality related and non-compliance issues are investigated, and corrective measures are implemented and adhered to.
- Lead and coordinate internal/external quality audits with relevant parties
- Prepare Quality and Performance reports for submission to Senior Management
- Conduct Food Safety & Hygiene and HACCP related training to blue collared factory employees.
Job Requirements:
- Good understanding of SFA, FSSC / ISO 22K, GMP, HACCP, Halal and other food related requirements and regulations in Singapore
- Hands on experience in similar industry setting
- Good understanding of food safety, health and environmental safety audit requirements.
Education, Experience & Training:
- Diploma/ Degree in Food Science/ Technology or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing / Food Production industry
