We are seeking a Senior / Executive to join the SingHealth Intellectual Property (SHIP) team to focus on the commercialisation of new healthcare-related technologies developed under the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. The key responsibilities of the role will be working with and influencing the SingHealth clinical research community to identify and commercialise intellectual property arising from a diverse range of healthcare fields. Alongside the management of a growing portfolio of patent applications, the successful candidate will be involved in promoting the awareness and benefits of healthcare innovation development.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in science or engineering, with at least 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience within the academic and/or industrial environment.
- Track record of successfully negotiating commercial contracts with industry partners, particularly related to the licensing of technologies and/or new enterprise development.
- Working knowledge of IP protection and IP rights law.
- Meticulous individual with the ability to ‘think outside the box’ in order to translate intellectual property into commercially viable proposals.
- Strong project management experience and ability to work both independently and in a team is essential.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
