Reporting to Manager, Finance & Accounting, this role will handle finance & accounting activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team and support business units in accounts payable and staff claims for Singapore entities under Mitsui Chemicals Group
- Prepare withholding tax returns and submit to tax authority
- Provide accounting support for new construction project and assets capitalization
- Participate in process digitalization
- Prepare standing orders and liaise with bank on finance & accounting matters
- Respond to audit confirmation from external parties
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience in using SAP
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently under tight deadlines
- Effective team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
