Job Description:
The Senior Engineer provides solutions for products and establishes product specifications to satisfy requirements and meet organisational goals. He/She is responsible for formulating mass production processes to ensure operations meet both internal and external parties' quality requirements, and evaluates processes to optimise production capabilities and reviews the technical environment to meet business needs. He leads in managing cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects and assists in implementing process improvement projects. He possesses an analytical mind and leadership skills to steer the team to achieve the desired organisational outcomes.
Job Responsibilites:
1. Manufacture components and end products
- Develop & implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for New parts
- Preparation of First Article for New Parts and see to the Approval
- Produce and post-process tool path data into machine specific codes for multi-axis CNC Machining
- Quality signed off engineering drawings
- Provide technical support for daily manufacturing process
2. Manage Manufacturing Process Workflow
- Design jig & fixture including checking fixtures to satisfy manufacturing requirements
- Review manufacturing processes and technologies for enhancement and optimization
- Formulate manufacturing process improvements for quality enhancement and waste reduction
- Identify problems in the production and implement corrective and preventive actions
3. Conform to Management System
- Introduce quality improvements into engineering products/processes
- Propose improvements to workplace safety and health with operations
4. Contribute to Continuous Improvement
- Lead Continuous Improvement projects
- Evaluate and recommend process changes for improvements to help to improve yield, quality and cycles times
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
- Min 3 years working experience in 5-Axis CNC Programming
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in Solidworks, SAP, SQL, Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Able to lead, motivated, driven and good communication skills
- A team player with a sense of responsibility and urgency
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in CNC Machining, assembly process and fixture/jig design will be adder adventage
