Job Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts for Catering and Outlets TA reservations sales budget, as well as existing and potential clients to grow revenue
- Attend the monthly Sales Meeting to present monthly sales report and provide feedback on the market situation and competitors’ analysis, contribute ideas to improve business and to achieve gazette profits in area of responsibility
- Manage pipeline and record enquires in Ecmas to ensure banquet operations is aware of upcoming bookings and prospective orders to manage manpower
- Process catering orders and banquet event orders, manage and process billing for events
- Assist in developing catering menus and event sales packages, and contribute to Business Operations department through collaborative discussions and related projects
- Prepare weekly forecast of catering orders and communicate with the Banquet Operations team, work closely with the team for catering requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field
- Min. 3 years of experience with event sales, planning and execution of mid to large-scale physical/hybrid events, including weddings, corporate and school events
- Hotel management experience and/or experience in the field of catering and event services preferred.
- Must speak fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, disciplined and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work on weekends or odd hours (will be compensated with off-in-lieu)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
