Job responsibilities
The Finance Assistant (Part Time) will be primarily involved in ensuring adherence to financial procedures within the company. They will work across multiple aspects of the finance function, including, but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Book-keeping, Late Payment Chasers, Report Generation, Invoicing, Amendments, etc. This is a part-time role, suitable for someone who is looking at a 16-20 hour commitment on a weekly basis
Primary responsibilities include:
1. Handle accounts and account-related queries
2. Work with internal accounting systems to generate reports
3. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
4. Management statement of accounts and chasers for late payments
5. Complete invoicing across customer platforms
6. Reconciliations on a daily basis
7. Improve & strengthen financial processes and governance

2. Drive to work proactively without constant supervision
3. Ability to work without clearly defined tasks
4. Fast learner
5. Good people and communication skills
6. Good with computers (as all our Finance work is on cloud)
Other details
1. 16 - 20 hours per week depending on personal preference
2. 5 days per week (3 to 4 hours per day)
3. Up to 20% of the time will be work from home
4. This is a 12 month contract role; can be extended depending on performance
