Pre-Sales Engineer (Technical)
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
- To provide technical pre-sales technical support for products carried by ACE6.
- To join and assist Sales in customer meetings, including demonstrating products carried by ACE6.
- To create and manage training program and conduct training to customers.
- To liaise with other ACE6 offices on support/service-related matters (future).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with management and engineering staff to identify product/technology needs.
- Building partnerships with companies to pursue specific opportunities and enhance product offerings.
- Coordinate meetings, trainings, and seminars with the customer to demonstrate the value proposition of tech solutions.
- Explore potential customer needs and project opportunities at all stages of the project and provide timely feedback on effective information.
- During the project implementation process, cooperate with the project manager to support the smooth implementation of the plan and achieve the project goal.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- ITE/Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in technical pre-sales environment.
- Technical understanding of wireless communication systems and networks
- Experience with technical sales
- The proven ability to qualify client's needs and follow-up with recommendations for solutions best suited to their needs.
- Ability to write technical proposals.
- The ability to learn new products quickly and comprehensively to offer solutions to potential clients.
- Demonstrated business experience working with and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and team building ability.
- Interacts frequently with internal and external management and senior-level customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or contractual clarifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to act strategically and tactically to support successful project completion. Experience with cultural diversity in Asia region is highly desirable.
- Bilingual is highly desirable.
- A real desire to succeed and grow in responsibility and position.
- Great organizational skills with attention to detail and exceptional follow-through.
- ITE or equivalent qualification in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge on the use of lab instruments like spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope etc.
- Must possess good soldering skills.
- Must possess good troubleshooting skills/knowledge.
- Based in Singapore.
Work Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9am to 6pm
Annual Leave: 14 days (+2 days for 2 years completion of employment)
