RESPONSIBILITIES :
Job Scopes:
- Review soil sample and do soil classification and face mapping during shaft excavation, mined tunnel and bored tunnel works.
- Assess face conditions during excavation to confirm stability of the ground for working condition.
- Do face mapping for mined and bored tunnel.
- Perform ground condition checks during cutterhead interventions for bored tunnelling works.
- Maintain records for soil sample and calculate volume loss for tunnelling works.
- Review instrumentation results against the soil profile for the excavation/tunnelling works.
- Support QA/QC Manager in QA/QC matters
- Support instrumentation works and monitoring
REQUIREMENT (E.g. Qualifications, Certifications, Experience) :
· Degree in Geology
· Experience in mined tunnels or sprayed concrete lining tunnels in Singapore is necessary
· Able to do works under compressed air in Tunnel Boring Machine.
· Preferred 2-3 years’ experience in tunnelling projects.
