Position Summary :
The Integration , Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) engineer is responsible for two main portion:
IVVQ testing related; Product deployment and configuration of Cloud Native Architecture Solution
We are looking for a passionate individual that is looking to be challenged, as he or she will performing IVVQ activities systems across various business domains, various projects with various timelines. The candidate will be involved through the whole lifecycle of the projects, from design to implementation then maintenance.
Situation in the Organization :
This IVVQ Engineer member of the Engineering team, reports functionally to the Head of Communication Engineering
Context :
- Transportation Project ( Mainline , MRT, LRT )
- Large project requiring multiple international entities.
It also involves the following tasks:
- Work with IVVQ Manager to ensure that all the requirements are properly testable – including the testing method – and that full V&V Traceability can be put in place and maintained with the verification test scenarios.
- Prepare the resources used for various test configurations, develop and implement verification procedure, compile the results documents, manage the deviations and record all verification results.
- Responsible for integration, perform factory acceptance test (Based on Singapore Factory) of Telecom sub-systems, communicate with customer, prepare report and submission to customer.
- Deploy, configure and manage the Telecom system IT infrastructure, such as servers, storage and network devices
- Configure software and hardware systems and deploy integration solutions based on Cloud technology.
- Support and/or perform troubleshooting and creating tools to resolve incidents where necessary
- Proactive to help the team in any other areas within the scope of software development life cycle.
- Deployment of on-prem data center solution (IT Infra) from hardware and OS and its services perspective
- Deployment of network solutions including firewalls
- Deployment of software on the data center and any other external hardware
- Deployment of cyber solutions
- IVVQ testing of IT infra/network/software/cyber solutions
You have:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline (essential)
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering (preferred)
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE :
- >3 Years of direct experience in manual/automated testing, configuration and management of IT infrastructure.
- Experience in designing and developing integration solutions using APIs, micro services, and service-oriented architecture is preferred
Technical skills and expertise in several of the following technologies and areas of knowledge would be valuable:
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and cloud computing.
- Knowledge in Networking protocols and Virtualization preferably with experience in Ansible and other related IT automation tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl is preferred
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with test management tools, JIRA, SVN and other software tools.
- Familiarity with Railway communication systems, such as CCTV, Passenger Information, Public Address, Radio Communication, PABX.
- Relevant experience in similar LTA MRT projects is preferred.
- Experience in the following will be an advantage :

- Disaster recovery design and implementation, such as Arcserve,
- High Availability Systems,
- Virtualization (VMware, VSAN,…),
- Kubernetes,
- Storage Systems,
- Hardening procedures,
- Firewall policy implementation,
- L3 and L2 switches configuration and troubleshooting,
- System configuration & troubleshooting, and
- Load, Performance and Integration testing.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
- Experience of IT in industrial environment
