We are currently recruiting a Senior Research Fellow to join the laboratory of Professor Lim Kah Leong at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), a joint medical school between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Imperial College London.
The candidate will be leading a project that seeks to develop human umbilical cord-lining derived induced pluripotent stem cells (CLiPS) as a universal source of cells for regenerative medicine for Parkinson’s Disease.
Job Requirements
- PhD in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as research fellow in the field of neuroscience/ neurobiology
- Deep knowledge and interest in neuroscience and regenerative medicine.
- Strong research experience and relevant skill sets in biomedical sciences (genomics, cell biology, molecular biology, animal handling, etc.).
- Experience in non-human primate studies is preferred.
- Experience in mentoring and training junior researchers.
- Highly motivated and independent researcher with enthusiasm for research.
- Strong team player with excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
- Strong motivation and leadership in pursuing challenging scientific questions.
