As a Senior Equipment/Project Engineer, you will oversee the design of production machinery and will identify and recommend solutions to production problems related to materials, processes, and tooling.
Responsibilities
· Activities include but are not limited to, analyzing technology trends, designing new products/processes, modifying and improving existing products/processes, developing test procedures.
· Confers with others in the organization to determine engineering feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
· Strong involvement in installation, commissioning, optimization, and qualifying of new machines via qualification and validation processes.
· Subject Matter Expert for Engineering to work on the efficiency and efficacy of manufacturing processes/module.
· Drive engineering improvements, provide technical support, and lead initiative to achieve the right quality of product within corporate and follow regulatory requirements standards.
· Participate in design reviews for manufacturing equipment.
· Support in installation, commissioning, optimization, and qualifying of new machines via qualification and validation processes.
· Proactively communicate project progress, key issues and any other critical topics in a timely manner to the appropriate management level and vendors
Key Skills and Experience
· Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Chemical) or Science (Physics/ Chemistry) or relevant discipline or equivalent.
· 3-5 years working experience in medical device manufacturing or similar GMP environment.
· Design and development experience in automated assembly machine, especially in mechanical engineering design.
· Proven process improvement experience in the modern manufacturing industry.
· Sound technical problem-solving skills with experience in advanced manufacturing equipment engineering.
· Good communication skills and able to lead a team.
· Automation / Project & Vendor Management knowledge experience and lean six sigma certification will be an added advantage.
· Computer literacy in MS Office, MS Project.
