OPERATION MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day work and operations of branch to ensure adherence to organization guidelines.
  • Control operating expenses and keep within the approved budget.
  • Recommend investments that will achieve sustainable cost savings and process efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure the implementation of approved SOP’s within the approved budget of resources allocated for the operation.
  • Review the performance KPI’s and operating expenses. 
  • Initiate the review of operations (KPI’s and Operational issues) with the principal’s representatives and schedule the reviews to take place on a regular basis.(weekly or monthly, depending on the requirements of the principal and the complexity of the operations)
  • Attend to specific issues and concerns, raised by the Principal, in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and recommend business and budget plans for approval by the management.
  • Initiate cost saving projects with emphasis on improved processes, line efficiency gains, reduced wastage or increased automation so as to reduce cost, improve quality and increase productivity.
  • Monitors operations staff work performance. Coach subordinates on important aspects of work performance, and where appropriate recommends development plans promotion or further improvement in areas of poor performance.
  • Ensure a clean, safe and hazard free work environment in all areas of the business.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in operation or in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge in WMS system.
  • Well verse in computer application eg. Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Customer Orientated and Strong Customer Relationship.
  • Possess leadership skills and able to impart skills and coaching to staffs.
  • Planning, organising, delegation and analytical skills.
  • Project management and implementation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in English.
  • Prior experience in direct selling organization will be advantageous.
