KR performs government agency inspections on behalf of over 80 governments, including the Republic of Korea, and provides ship inspection technology and digital/eco-friendly/certification/ship inspection technologies in over 60 major cities around the world, including London, Athens, Singapore, New York, and Shanghai. KR ASIA-PACIFIC HQ provides multi-faceted services within the marine and offshore segments, including
Classification, verification and advisory services towards shipowners, major oilers, shipyards, etc. of this region and help them to maximize their profit.
Located in Singapore, we expect you are able to strengthen KR's position in the Southeast Asia to provide high value services to existing customers, as well as develop market share and potential customers.
*Job descriptioin:
This position will be based in Singapore(International business trip required)
• Report to HQ Top Management in Korea monthly.
• Maintain good relationship with existing customers by organising customized activities and providing professional technical support(eg. committee meetings, technical forum and corporate promotion events to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maximize to develope potential business and customers in this region(Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philipine, Thailand....)
•Tailor different BFA(BLOCK FEE AGREEMENT) for different customers.
• Stay up to date with industry, market trends, technology trends and best practices.
• Support & follow up critical accounts receivables in close cooperation with Finance team to ensure timely payment and solution.
* Requirements:
• Report to top management in HQ Korea montly and follow instructions.
• Require close co-operation with the relevant Business Development Managers, Drawing Approval Centre Managers, Production Managers, Accounting Team Managers...
• Excellent knowledge of maritime offshore industry and offshore classification, including Drawing Approval.
• General responsible to annual Seminar & Reception, South-East Asia Committee Meeting and Golf Activities hold in Singapore.
• Strong customer engagement and interaction skill.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• Strong team leadership.
• Ability to handle pressure.
• Good analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Different cultures and languages(Korean) will be added advantage.
