Series-D Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Overview: As the CFO of the Fintech, a thriving Series-D tech startup, you will join our executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our financial strategy. We are seeking a dynamic CFO currently serving in a CFO capacity at a listed company, bringing a wealth of experience in strategic financial management and proven success in navigating the complexities of a public company environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership:Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
   Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
   
2. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):Lead the financial aspects of potential mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute strategic acquisition opportunities in line with our growth strategy.
   
3. Investor Relations:Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders.
   Communicate the company's financial performance, strategy, and objectives to the investment community.
   
4. Financial Reporting and Compliance:Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
   Ensure transparency and adherence to all financial and legal obligations.
   
5. Capital Structure and Financing:Optimize the company's capital structure, exploring financing options and managing relationships with financial institutions.
   Assess and execute financing strategies to support our growth initiatives.
   
6. Risk Management:Implement effective risk management strategies, identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with business operations.
   Stay abreast of market trends and industry best practices to guide risk management decisions.
   
7. Team Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
   Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for the finance team.
   

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CFO in a publicly listed company is a must.
• Extensive experience in leading successful mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong financial acumen and a track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities with investors and stakeholders.
• Experience in the tech industry is highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
