Resonsibilities
- Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts
- Ensure parts are repaired according to the prescribed standards and procedures
- Responsible for incoming/ initial, in-process and final inspection of repairable parts/ components channeled into the cell and through the repair process to ensure conformance to related documents and required repairs
- Have available and understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the product being inspected and with other forms of information
- Responsible for conducting the inspection in accordance with Regulatory approved technical data
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Management
- Minimum 1-year working experience
- Acceptable communication and interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels
- Good understanding of technical drawing
- Familiar with the relevant airworthiness and regulatory agencies requirements
- Thoroughly familiar with all inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment’s and tools used to determine the quality of airworthiness of a part
- Proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids
- Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach
