The Application Support role requires the end-to-end support of all Markets related applications across the sales, execution, and trading domain. Although focusing on 1st level support the role is expected to provided support across the horizontals as well as the depth required to enable the applications under management to be efficiently used and provide constant feedback to the team for improvement. The incumbent shall also build highly effective relationships across the Bank to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services to optimise service to clients.

- Relevant higher educational and professional background with 3-6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an Investment Banking/Private Banking domain
- Solid experience of providing global support across locations and stakeholders within the finance industry
- Experience with testing applications as part of a release management process within an Agile framework
- Some understanding of financial products and order management flows
- Good understanding of development life cycles such as Agile Methodology
- Good understanding of database design with confidence to write scripts and complex sql queries
- Experience of technology stack used in a typical client server architecture, e.g Java, JavaEE, and web (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc)
- Experience with risk, trading and order management systems would be highly desirable.
- Language Skills: English (oral and written) and preferably a second language
