Responsibilities include:
- Develop a comprehensive cutover plan detailing all migration activities
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure alignment with project timelines
- Look into risk management for the project including identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, and proactively addressing issues that may impact the cutover process
- Maintain clear communication channels between technical teams, stakeholders, and project managers
- Provide regular updates on cutover progress to relevant parties
- Oversee testing activities related to cutover processes.
- Ensure that all necessary validations are performed before, during, and after the migration
- Develop contingency plans for potential issues during the migration.
- Quickly respond to and resolve any unexpected problems that may arise
- Document all cutover procedures and activities for future reference.
- Create a detailed post-implementation report highlighting lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in managing large-scale IT projects
- Prior experience within the Insurance industry a plus
- Must have experience managing multiple migration projects concurrently
- Strong project management skills, familiar with project methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and application architecture
- Experience with migration tools and technologies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary
