Job Description
- Design and conduct experiments to develop new products, processes, or technologies in the fields of environmental science, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or petrochemicals.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to guide further research and development efforts.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in environmental science, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals through literature reviews and continuous monitoring of industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and other R&D professionals, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to research projects.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless transition from lab-scale to commercial-scale processes.
- Ensure that all research activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Adhere to and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- PhD in Environmental engineering , Chemical engineering, Biochemical engineering or related fields
- 2 to 5 years of industry experience in environmental, Chemistry, pharmaceutical, petrochemical or related field.
- Knowledge of chemical processes such as incineration, water treatment, distillation and crystallization.
- Awareness for safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment.
- Experience designing and conducting bench-scale tests and pilot testing, as well as experience developing and reviewing validation protocols is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge and experience in analytical chemistry, including experience with various analytical equipment is an advantage.
