As the Chief of Business Strategy, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the overall strategic direction of the company. This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and the ability to formulate and implement effective strategies to achieve organisational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate the company's overall strategic vision and long-term goals;
- Lead the formulation and execution of business strategies that align with organisational objectives;
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, threats, and industry trends;
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential growth areas;
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate and execute strategic partnerships and alliances;
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of strategic initiatives;
- Regularly evaluate and report on the performance of business strategies against set goals;
- Identify potential risks and challenges in the business environment;
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the company's resilience;
- Work closely with executive leadership to ensure alignment between business strategy and overall corporate objectives;
- Drive initiatives that promote continuous improvement and adaptation to changing market conditions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus;
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience;
- Experience in data centre and cloud computing industry is preferred;
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills;
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Ability to envision and execute long-term business strategies;
- Ability to synthesise complex information and make data-driven decisions.
