strategic Sales Director Asia

Scan Global Logistics has been on an exciting journey for the last few years with the ambition to become the most attractive partner in the logistics industry with satisfied customers, employees, and owners. To continue this journey, we are now looking for a Strategic Sales Director Asia based in our Singapore office. The role will primarily be responsible for development relationships with strategic accounts of the company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek out new and larger business opportunities, identify opportunities for growth within existing business and work closely with the field sales team in pursuit of these opportunities.
  • Working closely with CCO to implement and drive the commercial strategy in Asia.
  • Support the growth of key products both on Air and Ocean in key segments.
  • Develop a client base by growing own book of business, lead sharing and market intelligence.
  • Support field sales team for active selling of products within the company’s key verticals and key markets.
  • Close the sale and assist in the implementation process linking in with operations, customer service and senior management teams.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the process and meet operational profit and growth targets.

For the right candidate, we expect this role to grow into a Managing Director position in time. The candidate is expected to be trained in overseeing all business operations, people, and ventures, and develop into being able to execute the company's business strategies and provide strategic advice to the CCO / CEO of Asia.


Join us if you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • Have experience of logistics network collaborative selling approaches, with a proven track record in Sales Management and Sales Development.
  • Understand international forwarding and supply chain business trends and purchasing drivers.
  • Familiar with the Asian Logistics market and environment.
  • Are commercially and customer solution focused with strong point of sale skills.
  • Strong operational understanding of containerized cargo movements via sea, air and land
  • Have a strong track record of Stakeholder Management
  • Capable of working effectively within culturally diverse environments and using outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Have strong technical acumen (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems etc.)
  • Are fluent in English and at least one Asian language.
