JOB SCOPE:
· Examine description and authenticity of items claimed against the appropriate supporting documents, submitted by the grant recipients to substantiate the claims;
· Certify that claims submitted by grant recipients are within the approved qualifying costs and grant amounts;
· Certify that the Claims Verification Report prepared by the Claim Verifying Officer is properly drawn up in the format specified by the Authority and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the grant and applicable to the Authority’s funding guidelines and policies; and,
· Prepare and sign off the Statement of Accounts (with the certified Claims Verification Report attached), in line with SSRS 4400 requirements, for each verified claim.
· Email a copy of the signed Statement of Accounts (with certified Claims Verification Report attached) to the Authority’s Grant Officer.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree in accountancy or equivalent
· at least two (2) years of audit experience
· Experience in accounting/auditing role in/for the construction or construction-related industry
· Excellent communication skills
· Meticulous and attention to detail.
· Singapore citizens only
