Full Time Academic Instructor (Japanese Language)

Job Description

1. Classroom teaching to Japanese students (medium of instructions: Japanese)
2. Prepare lesson material and assignsments in compliance with Japanese curriculum and Japanese school examinations requirement (language to be used: Japanese)
3. Report to Management on student progress and achievement
4. Provide timely counselling to Japanese students and their parents regarding academic progress and overall conduct; support students to meet academic goals
5. Oversee class management and administration according to school's policies and procedures
6. Maintain high standard of student conduct and discipline
7. Any ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Educational Qualification must be acceptable for teacher registration with MOE
2. Minimum a Bachelor Degree
3. Japanese proficiency must be at nativel level; all classes are conducted in Japanese language
4. At least 5 years of experience in academic field and teaching Japanese language to Japanese students
5. Good communication skills to maintain good relationship with students, parents/caregivers of students and colleagues
6. Prior experience in multi-cultural and diverse workplace environment
7. Willing to commit to the following work hours: 5 weekdays - 1pm to 10pm, Saturday - 9.30am to 7pm
8. Expected monthly remuneration is S$6,000-S$8,400. Final monthly remuneration depends on relevant experiences and qualifications
