Permanent Part-Time Studio Admin

My Art Studio (www.myartstudio.sg) offers an array of creative of art programmes for children 3-12 years old, with a strong emphasis on having a holistic approach to creativity. Our art programmes are run in primary schools, childcare centres and in the studio. We also provide art jamming sessions for adults and events, as well as team-bonding through art for corporate partners.

We are looking for an independent, self-driven and resourceful individuals with warm personalities to join us as Part Time Studio Admin to assist in the administration work. You must be comfortable doing sales, speaking with customers and liaise with teachers.

Job Description

· Able to promptly and professionally attend to all walk-in potential customers and their incoming phone/email enquiries. Communicate effective and ensure closure for new prospective customers after they come for a trial lesson

· Establishing excellent rapport with parents, children and teachers

· Assist in overall support for operations, coordination and general office administration through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication

· Assist support in off-site art programs and events.

· Assist in the day-to-day administration of the Studio (roster, scheduling, payments, etc.)

· Assist in student enrolments (enquiries, registration, assessments, etc.)

· Assist in scheduling art classes to ensure optimal use of resources (classrooms, materials, etc.)

· Assist in regular and workshop facilitation and prepare the studio before and after workshops

· Assist teacher(s) with workshops when required

· Ensure the safety and appropriate behavior of students while in the studio

· Assist in the preparation of monthly report and update to Stakeholders

· Promptly update and maintain student system to ensure accuracy

· Maintain inventory list and manage/pack online orders

· Record keeping and basic accounting duties

· Maintain routine facilities management for Studio

· Any other duties as assigned by Studio Manager

Requirements

  • Able to converse fluently in English and Mandarin
  • Cheerful and sociable. Enjoy working around and communicate with young people.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous, fast learner and can work with minimal supervision
  • Team player who can function well both independently and collaboratively
  • Independent, meticulous and able to produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in Excel and Word
  • Prior experience in enrichment center with administration (Preferred)
  • Have knowledge in Art (Preferred but not necessary)
  • Higher Secondary/Pre-U/'A' Level, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma

Flexible working arrangement:

· Permanent part-time role

· Min 12 months commitment

· Min 2-3 working days in a week

· Able to work weekends and weekdays

· Between Tue to Fri: 10.30am to 7.30pm/8.30pm

· Between Sat and Sun: 9am to 5pm/6pm

· Location is in Serangoon Garden
