In this role, you will be part of the pioneer team providing crucial support for the monthly financial closing processes. You will also prepare the budgeting and forecasting submissions.
You will be the key resource responsible for ensuring all financial transactions are supported and approvals are sought for claims processing. You will also review requests from stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Terms of Reference (“TOR”) of the respective funding sources.
In addition, you will assist in matters relating to audit, GST and taxation matters to ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards, Companies’ Act and other relevant statutory requirements, policies and guidelines of the Hospital.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional and institutional relationships
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Systematic and meticulous
- Ability to handle complex, ambiguous and challenging situations under fast-paced and evolving conditions
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
