We are continuing our journey focusing on applying a product mentality to the way we build our products and ensure that we focus on our clients and their needs to build the right product at the right time. This role will be responsible for working with engineers to accelerate our ongoing migration of hundreds and thousands of cores to the public cloud. The set of products comprise of lightweight custom containers and a control plane for providing of compute in the public cloud.
Your Impact
We are looking for an experienced program manager who will maintain close relationships with our users and engineering teams. This team manages highly reliable, cloud enabled core scheduling platforms, managed file transfer service, grid compute platform, software distribution service and stateless compute platforms. We adopt the most appropriate approach to drive the firm and our clients towards desired growth. We want to apply the same approach to the way we build products and deliver customer-centric, best-in-class products.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- You will be an experienced and seasoned program manager, working cross-functionally to guide programs from conception through launch, growth and maturity by connecting different technical worlds to meet our customers at their needs. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development and release adopting the principals of growth from MVP / PoC
- This role offers a high profile opportunity to lead projects which involve various businesses and entities within the firm. You will have the opportunity to work with various teams in Technology, Securities, IMD, IBD, Technology Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit
- This role requires an experienced professional with proven program management and program delivery skills. Strong communication skills are equally important, as the role will involve working closely with team members in many other groups in the firm
- Managing the program end to end lifecycle from concept to design, PoC, testing, support and finally product end of life
- Be a ruthless prioritiser while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders while being transparent about your prioritization and roadmap process
- Managing the initiation, planning, execution, monitor/control, and close out of workstreams
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- STEM degree and equivalent practical experience building/shipping technical programs
- 7+ years of technical program delivery experience, including experience driving the product vision, design, and go-to-market strategy
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems and technical solutions to all stakeholders
- Demonstrated success collaborating with design and engineering peers
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional technical teams
- Demonstrated experience in understanding the customer, product development, requirements analysis, planning and program strategy
- Must have experience with managing client expectations and communicating effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to translate business requirements into a product roadmap
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow through skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team

- Program management formal qualification
- Solid technical foundation in software development and delivery
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction
- Tech risk / compliance/ internal audit / regulatory engagement related experience
