About the Company:
The company started with civil engineering contracts and progressively expanded into addition and alteration, demolition, civil engineering, and general building works.
The company also has vast experience in construction of driving circuit for heavy vehicles, drainage and sewerage works, pipe laying and roadworks, as well as general building for both public and private projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Purchasing Manager on procurement requirements including mainly on contractor works relating to maintenance / upgrading of on-going and upcoming projects.
- Provide advice to company personnel / suppliers of nature and function of parts equipment when required.
- Liaise with contractor representatives regarding specifications, costs, inspection, and similar problems relating to parts equipment when required.
- Effective sourcing and negotiate with vendors for best value, lead-time and terms at all times.
- Identify, access, and develop potential alternative vendors for various services.
- Monitors vendors’ performance in terms of quality, delivery, price and services and taking corrective actions.
- Update and maintain procurement records and related documentations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in any Engineering major or equivalent
- At least 1 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage, no experience candidate is welcomed to apply
- Procurement knowledge will be advantegous
