Responsibilities:
Construction Supervision:
- Collaborate with construction and design teams to ensure that construction activities align with the approved architectural designs and specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of construction work.
- Verify that materials and workmanship comply with project standards and codes.
Communication and Co-ordination:
- Bridging as a liaison between the architectural design team and construction team.
- Collaborate with and support consultants, contractors, engineers, coordinators and other stakeholders to resolve design-related issues.
Quality Control:
- Support Project Architect to maintain the integrity of the architectural design throughout the construction process.
- Develop and review shop drawings, samples, and other submittals from contractors for the approval of Project Architect.
- Ensure that shopdrawings and construction activities adhere to building codes, utilities agencies’ and relevant authorities’ requirements.
Problem Resolution:
- Identify and address any design or construction-related challenges that may arise during the building process.
- Work closely with the design and construction teams to develop effective solutions that align with the project's requirements.
- Review subcontractor’s proposals and able to counterpropose solutions and details to solve problems together as a team.
Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Min 8 year of Architectural works experience, with 5 years supervision for MRT projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, building services systems, and authorities’ requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex architectural drawings and specifications.
