Business Development Manager (Media Sales)
The Business Development Manager will be in charge of increasing the company's revenue by expertly discovering new and untapped leads and relationships predominantly, but not limited to, the healthcare industry. This person is responsible for generating new sales leads, negotiating client contracts, and forecasting sales revenue. He or she must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and commission-driven, as well as have strong sales and marketing skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage our existing sales pipeline as well as the development of new business opportunities.
- Take the lead in creating new business proposals and presentations that generate and nurture opportunities and partnerships.
- Analyze new-venture integration to develop strategies and positions.
- Drive marketing partnerships with new and existing clients, pitch marketing promotion ideas, and deliver successful partnership campaigns that are aligned with the business goals.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends to keep our clients ahead of the digital and social curve.
- Strong understanding of media and advertising sales,, as well as prior experience pitching for and winning campaigns.
Qualifications/Skills:
- No minimum educational qualifications.
- A minimum of four years of direct experience working for a media, advertiser, agency, ad tech, or social media platform is required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; effectively communicate with internal stakeholders at all organizational levels, vendors, and team members.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage resources.
- Experience with project management and adaptability: Ability to re-prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Must be a positive, hardworking and self-motivated person.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a huge plus.
