Job Description:
- Take proactive interest in natural resources and bulk commodities markets
- Participate in and prepare tender documents for submission
- Physical position management and reporting
- Market data management: global supply & demand, individual country data
- Assist with presentations for internal and external purposes
- (With time and experience) Draft contracts and engage with Clients re individual contracts, operational issues and/or physical ventures, generally
- Liaise with and build relationships with corporate functions and related offshore entities such as finance, shipping and operations
Skills/Competency:
- Broad interest in macro economics, commodity markets, trading and business
- Strong commercial awareness
- Attention to detail
- trong analytical and communication skills; interest in data management and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to write accurately and succinctly; and
- Strong excel and powerpoint skills
