We are looking to hire an Business Development Manager (APAC) to support Smart IMS and our clients in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and India. The incumbent should have proven experience in business development and familiarity with Information Technology industry.
Job Description
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities to generate high-quality leads.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the customer base, ensuring alignment with the organisation's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage market insights and enhance the organisation's competitive position.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, industry dynamics, and potential clients.
- Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions and stay ahead of market changes.
- Regularly update the organisation on market conditions and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and business requirements.
- Proactively engage with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Continuously monitor client feedback and satisfaction to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Implement robust tracking mechanisms to monitor key performance metrics, including revenue growth, client retention, and business development activities.
- Generate detailed reports and analysis, providing insights into the effectiveness of various strategies and initiatives.
- Use performance data to make data-driven decisions and optimise business development efforts.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and India.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and business strategy.
- Familiarity with various programming languages, development frameworks, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
