Facilities Management Officer

Assists the Facilities Management Executive (FME) in the following:

1. Ensure general upkeep and cleanliness of premises.
2. Supervise the Cleaning Contractors to ensure all cleaning works are carried out satisfactorily and according to the schedule.
3. Overseeing landscape maintenance is performed by the landscape contractor satisfactorily and according to the schedule.
4. Monitor scheduled servicing of Housekeeping, M&E & ACMV, and other installations.
5. Coordinate ad-hoc renovations and repairs.
6. Assist the FME in compliance with building and fire safety requirements and regulations, including responding to fire alarms, managing fire drills, and inspecting fire extinguishers.
7. Conduct checks of the church building’s furniture, facilities, and equipment, and report areas that are spoilt, faulty, and damaged and need replacements and repairs.
8. Hands-on minor repairs of the church facilities, e.g., minor plumbing repairs, changing light bulbs, changing door locks, etc.
9. I take care of the Church Van; I routinely check the fuel level and cash card value. Send the van for servicing at the prescribed frequency.

2. OTHERS

1. When major events are held on the church premises, whether hosted by COOS or other organizations, EFMD staff will be involved in supporting the event.
2. Any other duties as assigned by the Department Head.
