Senior Operations Manager
You will lead our operations (Shipping and Planning- Supply Chain teams) and play a pivotal and strategic role in delivering successful fulfilment of all jobs to achieve optimal efficacy in our Group’s operations. You will collaborate with other departments to drive strategic plans for business growth and manage the budgeting, cost controls and keeping the business on track financially through management of the supply chain, freight optimization and other resources for value optimization. Hands on experience with ERP, CRM and data analytics software, experience with Business Central/ Navision and Salesforce in a trading and distribution organization will be added advantage.
Working with local and regional teams and other department heads, you will also review operational processes, purchasing and inventory efficacy and relevant frameworks to maintain operational excellence towards internal stakeholders and external customers’ satisfaction as well as to proactively improve our existing operational capabilities. You will be responsible for and reporting to senior management on departmental budgets. You are to create and manage departmental budgets, forecasting and reporting to ensure cost-effective operations and achieve financial targets by optimizing efficiency.

Responsibilities
- To lead and provide guidance in operational functions with the objective to achieve the set deliverable and to strive for continuous improvements.
- To be responsible for budgeting, controlling costs and keeping the business on track financially through management of the supply chain and other resources to minimize costs and maximise results; Reporting and performing analysis comparing actual and budgeted metrics including activities and expenses.
- To maximize the supply visibility to all markets in the BU and plays a critical role in stocks planning and replenishment and allocations to distributor markets in our regional offices.
- To ensure the successful day-to-day supply planning and shipping operations and fulfilment of jobs to achieve optimal efficiencies.
- To review and optimize shipping and freight activities for the business with cost-optimization measures and methodologies.
- To set deliverables for continuous improvements in supply availability with suppliers, stock health and indirect management of logistics service providers
- To coordinate with internal stakeholders to consolidate various data sources and information to enable and facilitate informed analysis for decision making.
- To perform comparative data analysis and report actual and budgeted metrics including activities and expenses in the Sales & Operation Planning Meeting
- To review operations processes and frameworks to achieve continual operational excellence towards internal stakeholders and external customers’ satisfaction; communicate formally and present the actionable findings and feasible recommendations to Management.
- To participate in periodic business leadership meetings; developing the driving strategies and programs which improve our processes and overall competitive position.
- To provide strategic direction to Management on business risk evaluation and management, regulatory compliance and adherence
- Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to consolidate various data sources and information to enable and facilitate informed analysis for decision making
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent field
- Solid understanding of core business functions: Logistics, Finance, IT, human resources, and marketing can be beneficial.
- Hands on experience with ERP software, Business Central will be an advantage
- 8-10 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in operations, project management, supply chain, or a related field.
- Track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.
- Experience in managing budgets and driving operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation: Utilizing data to inform decisions and track performance.
- Understanding of key operations software and technology.
- Ability to analyze and improve workflow processes is essential
- Good proficiency in written and spoken English
