Role: Wintel Engineer
Location: Kallang
Type of Role: 12 months contract renewable / (convertible to permanent)
Remuneration: Base Salary and 1 month completion bonus
Overview of Role:
The Wintel Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the Windows server infrastructure for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and manage Windows server operating systems and related software applications.
- Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages in a timely manner.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as patching, updating, and upgrading servers.
- Ensure security compliance and implement security best practices on Windows servers.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.
- Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to system emergencies as needed.
- Completed installations and configurations of Windows servers and related software.
- Documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Timely resolution of system issues and outages to ensure system availability and reliability.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working with Windows server environments.
- Proficiency in Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA are a plus.
