Job Description
As we continue to expand and drive innovation, we are seeking a dynamic IT QA Assistant to join our team in Singapore. This is a fantastic opportunity for entry-level individuals, students on holiday, or recent graduates looking to kick-start their careers through a rewarding traineeship.
You will play a vital role in ensuring our software meets the highest quality standards before release. If you have a passion for troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and providing solutions to software quality challenges, we want to meet you.
Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities:
- Collaborating with project teams on test planning.
- Conducting functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identifying and tracking defects, working closely with development teams.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Generating and maintaining detailed test documentation.
Job Requirements
- Educational Background: Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: No prior work experience required; this is an entry-level position.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with software testing methodologies and best practices, in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases is a plus. Prior experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus. Prior experience in issue-tracking systems, e.g. JIRA or equivalent.
- Methodologies: Eagerness to learn and work in a SCRUM/Agile environment.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey testing status and issues.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Attitude: Positive, organized, and meticulous approach to tasks.
