Coopers Hill is looking for design focused Design Director (Softscape) to join our office in Asia. Landscape Architects (Softscape) / Horticulturist are key members of our creative team, actively involved in a diverse range of local and international projects.
Responsibilities:
- Creative candidate who is capable of oversee all aspects of softscape design within the company
- Ability to lead design teams, setting design strategies, ensuring design consistency
- Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and providing creative direction
- Collaboration with other departments, managing team’s workload
- Responsible for ensuring quality and effectiveness of design output
- Proficiency in delivering presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture or equivalent, with 8 to 10 years or more of experience in a professional landscape architectural design service firm
- Excellent knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and experienced in Planting Design
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of design quality and consistency
- Experience in project management with ability to deliver projects on time and within budget constraints
- Applicants with less experience who can demonstrate exceptional design skill and leadership will also be considered
