- Diploma in printing or equivalent

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Read and interpret job orders to determine the type of paper, ink, and other supplies needed for each job
- Adjust press settings to accommodate the specific requirements of each job, such as color, density, and registration
- Perform routine maintenance on the press, such as cleaning rollers and replacing worn parts
- Monitor the progress of each job to ensure that it is proceeding according to schedule
- Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to correct any problems
- Keep accurate records of production quantities and job times
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Follow all safety regulations to protect oneself and others from injury
- Assist in the training of new operators
- Plan production schedule for on time delivery
