Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with operations to understand the purchase requirements.
- Process & follow-up on purchase documents and ensure timely delivery.
- Sourcing, negotiating pricing and contract/credit terms.
- Ensure proper selection of suppliers to comply with quality, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory movement to avoid overstocking.
- Attend requests for quotation raised by internal users.
- Review with suppliers on quality issues and follow through with corrective actions by suppliers.
Job Requirements:
· Possess a recognized Diploma in Supply Chain / Engineering
· Preferably 2 years’ experience in sourcing and buying of Electro-Mechanical and Mechanical products.
· Ability to source widely with aggressive pricing for all semiconductor and mechanical parts and establish good network with suppliers.
· Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Independent, resourceful and has initiative in solving problems.
