Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of multiple civil construction projects, from initiation through to completion.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated and timelines are met.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet business objectives and standards.
- Lead, coach, and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure effective communication across project teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage subcontractors and consultants, ensuring their performance aligns with project goals.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Implement quality control protocols, ensuring the output meets the required standards and client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation, ensuring all project details are accurately recorded and communicated.
- Present project updates and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree / Master in Civil Engineering or engineering in any field.
- At least 10 years of project management experience in a leadership role in managing more than one project in the civil / marine construction industries.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and management skills
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
