Job Description:
As a recently launched Digital Bank in Singapore, we are expanding our Internal Audit team and are seeking an experienced auditor to join us. In this role, you will lead and oversee IT audit assignments within the Internal Audit team, providing impartial assurance to the Bank. Your primary responsibility will involve conducting risk assessments and performing IT audits to assess the sufficiency and efficiency of IT security measures, governance, and risk management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits related to Applications, IT Infrastructure, Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Digitalization risks.
- Assist in business audits by providing expertise in technology audits and evaluating controls supporting business operations.
- Independently conduct effective IT audits, covering audit planning, testing, evaluation of controls, report composition, and follow-up/validation of issue resolution.
- Establish effective communication channels with technology stakeholders to gain comprehensive insights into their processes.
- Analyze processes, identify key risks and controls, and conduct audit testing to gauge the adequacy and effectiveness of IT-related controls.
- Make significant contributions to ensure audits are completed promptly, demonstrating the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Generate high-quality working paper documentation, ensuring clear and justified documentation of audit activities and conclusions.
- Strictly adhere to regulatory, compliance, and internal policies of the Bank within the scope of own responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in internal or external IT auditing within the financial services sector.
- Thorough familiarity with technology and cybersecurity regulations, laws, and banking guidelines in Singapore.
- Comprehensive understanding of emerging cybersecurity trends and landscape, proficiency across various IT domains including applications, networks, operating systems, data management, and procedures.
- Possession of professional qualifications or industry accreditations such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, Cloud Certifications, etc.
- Demonstrated agility and willingness to adapt to the continually evolving landscape.
- Highly motivated professional with robust auditing skills.
