Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the event planning process.
- Develop comprehensive event strategies, including objectives, themes, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including event executives, coordinators, assistants, vendors, and contractors.
- Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure that team members are aligned with project goals and responsibilities.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate contracts, payments, and logistics to secure necessary services and materials for events.
- Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events.
- Proactively address challenges and troubleshoot issues as they arise during events to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure that event deliverables meet the quality standards and align with client expectations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance future events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in event management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity, innovation, and the ability to think strategically to create unique event experiences.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
