Junior/Senior Retail Associate will be assisting with duties like opening/closing the store and daily operation matters. On the sales floor they lead by example to others, demonstrating exceptional customer service and brand representation.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and foster New Balance’s company culture
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities with store manager to build our brand within the communities we serve
• Train new associates on the features and benefits of our products
• Deliver total customer satisfaction to every customer, following the end-to-end customer journey – from entering the store to leaving the store
• Play an integral part in the execution of inventory management • Assist store leadership with opening and closing the store
• Uphold and communicate visual merchandising and brand standards
• Follow safety regulations, including proper lifting procedures and timely reporting of all accidents and near misses
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
• Team Player
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Maintain good customers' relationships
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Assist in receiving and returning/transferring of stocks
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
