Job Role Description
Execute the activities of the front-of-house workstations, serving counter area and pantry. He/She carries out mise en place, polish cutleries, maintain utensils & equipment functionality, cleanliness and safety & work areas and performs other day-to-day operations. He/She is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at catering events.

Key Tasks
- Clean/ sanitise work stations at the start and end of work shift
- Ensure that cutleries, utensils and serving ware are cleaned/ sanitised and ready for use & serve food
- Assist with the complete setup and tear down of event settings
- Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed guest service implicit expectations
- Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the Events Lead/ Executive
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Replenish and arrange table settings, cutlery to their assigned shelves/ stations
Skills and Knowledge
Functional / Technical Experience
- Previous experience in events/ banquet or table service restaurants
- Food Safety and Hygiene and Basic Food Allergens
- Customer Service Experience
- Workplace Safety and Health for Food and Beverage Operations
- Time management and planning
- Teamwork and communication
- Attentive, meticulous and problem solving
Educational Qualifications
- WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene-1
- Minimum Professional Certificate or NITEC in related field is recommended
