HR Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Head of HR in various aspects of human resources management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The challenges:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to the company’s needs and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process for various positions within the organization.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.
- Handle employee relations matters by providing guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, employee benefits enrolment, and leave management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
- Assist in organizing and conducting training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations in Singapore and ensure the organization's HR practices are compliant.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives and foster a positive work culture.
- Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned by the HR Head.
What It Takes:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in human resources management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS software.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
