Job Description:
- Responsible for timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting
- Review of accounting transactions and journals for local & oversea entities and to work closely with the finance team for fair and true reporting
- To supervise and provide guidance to staff members in financial matters
- Perform monthly review and analysis of financial reports & operational performance
- Preparing analysis reports for tax filing
- Responsible for monthly GST submission
- Assist in managing of company’s cash flow
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure submission of statutory and tax reports are on timely basis.
- Liaise with internal & external auditors, resolve audit and accounting issues
- Liaise with tax agents on tax issues, annual submissions and Group’s tax planning
- Liaise with external parties including bankers, secretary, etc
- Ad hoc tasks delegated from time to time
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy/Commerce/Finance or equivalent
- At least 5 - 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Excellent team player, meticulous, and highly attentive to details
- Able to work effectively work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with any computerised accounting software and proficient in MS Office
- Familiar with the FRS
- Audit and regional finance & taxation experience
- Positive working attitude
- Have initiative, strong sense of responsibility and time management
