As the Head of Department, the Director shall:
Responsibilities:
- Direct and review all periodical financial reports, provide timely and accurate financial data to senior management for decision making
- Implement and monitor a control system and/or other accounting quality management system.
- Implement and ensure compliance of accounting policies, measures, procedures that are necessary for proper accounting practices, controls and services.
- Plan and prepare annual and long-term capital and annual budgets for senior management’s approval.
- Monitor the preparation of cash-flow statements, forecast and interact with the Banks and other external bodies.
- Oversee purchasing and store to negotiate for best prices without compromising on quality and ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with SOPs.
- Oversee and ensure that the Jackpot operations comply with appropriate SOPs in the handling of monies.
Requirements:
- Degree from a recognized University with Accounting related professional qualification.
- 12 years of relevant experience of which at least 6 years should be in a senior managerial position.
- Well versed with various aspects of finance and accounting.
- Well versed with Microsoft Office with special proficiency in Excel.
