- To lead the overall quality assurance/control functions by effective planning, directing, controlling and following through product quality performance in the plant (including flour silo).
To ensure quality objectives and product performance are met through constant monitoring and improvement of internal and external requirements.
To ensure compliance of HACCP, Food Act and Regulations and best laboratory practices to meet stringent quality expectation by customers and regulatory bodies.
To continuously review and monitor the quality assurance/control processes to find continuous improvements on procedures, methods, effectiveness and resource utilization.
To initiate trouble shooting to resolve problems arising from quality assurance/control issues.
To continuously train and upgrade the skill and knowledge of subordinates, and motivate subordinates to enable them to work together effectively and productively.
To respond to customer complaints and external audits in order to ensure complaints and queries are attended to in specified timeframe.
